Bhoot Jolokia & Mustard Paste

This cooking paste (pickle) with the heady mixture of ghost chillies or king chillies aka bhoot jolokia or bhut jolokia and mustard seeds paste is one hot concoction! From Assam, where mustard paste is commonly used in cooking, this pickle is given an extra hot boost combining bhoot jolokia with the already pungent mustard. You can also use it as a very spicy dip or add it to your curries if you want a hot, hot gravy – if you like your chillies hot, this will not disappoint.

The pungency level of this paste is very hot if had as is, though if you use it in cooking it mellows down a little.
