Jadoh is a rice-based Khasi delicacy from Meghalaya.
Ingredients:
- Oil Ginger paste
- Onion
- Lakadong Turmeric ( buy here )
- Plain rice or Red sticky rice ( buy here )
- Bay leaf ( buy here )
Methods:- Heat oil in a vessel.
- Add the onions, ginger paste, turmeric, and black pepper and fry till the mixture turns brown.
- Add bay leaves/powder and immediately drop in the pan.
- Add the pork pieces and fry until they turn light brown (optional )
- Add the washed rice and fry for 2-3 minutes Add salt.
- Add 4 cups of water and let it simmer till it gets cooked.
- Keep stirring.

Garnish it with coriander and serve.
